I was in Kosovo from 2009-2010 with the KFOR forces. It is a beautiful country and so are it’s people. I would love to go back as a civilian contractor or just a tourist.We taught English classes in Ferizaj to high school age kids.

I have been to Kosovo with the Army.
The people are the best.
Many wonderful sights.
I plan to go back as a civilian in 2013 to volunteer.
Loved my time there.

Thanks Sophie. I’m planning on a lot more posts on Kosovo now that the weather is warmer I’m also working on a hiking guide to the Dragash and Brod area.

Another great post, Todd. I’m glad to see articles about Kosovo, it’s such a nice little country. I was in Pristina when it was relatively new as an independent country – in April 2008. Such friendly people.

This is the one I enjoyed the most so far! perhaps I’m biased living here, and dying to discover more of the Kosovan countryside… I loved the miller…very touching…in fact, the whole piece is touching, you can feel the nostalgia for times past….I’ll go back anytime!
