Update:
The winner is Claire! The picture was taken in Kosovo while driving down a normal road. The signs are left over form the heavy NATO presence in 1999. While KFOR is still here helping with policing, the tanks are now all gone.
Claire blogs over at First-Time Travels. She has a great blog about traveling in the Philippines and around the area so go check her out.
Welcome to Travel Photo Contest Friday where each week I post a beautiful picture (at least I think so) from my travels and you guess where it is. The first person to guess where this picture was taken (Country only this time) will win a link back to their blog with the anchor text of their choice in this post (keep it clean and relevant). Leave your guess and recent post in the comment section below. Dave won last weeks competition of two monks in Galle Sri Lanka.
I will also stumble and review the latest post of anyone who leaves a comment even if the winner has already been picked (up until next Thursday). Yes, the prizes heavily favor the blogging and travel geeks amongst us. If you don’t have a website, then leave your favorite website or better yet a charity that deserves attention.
Good luck!
Guesses aside, all comments are welcome!

First of all, it is not the speed limit, but weight limit. It is normal to have it NATO countries before bridges. I can’t list all the countries with such signs (never pay attention to it), but for sure Germany and Italy are full of them too (though there were no wars recently).
Hmmm, thanks Snop. I just assumed they were speed limits!
Kosovo…since that’s where you are right now (I think)?

Nice guess Julie. Claire got it first but you are correct as well. yeah, I’m in Kosovo still and these signs are everywhere. They are a throwback to 1999 and the time when tanks where common from the NATO troops.
NATO is still here but the tanks are gone.
Hm…….i would say somewhere in the middle east… Hm. Saudiarabia??
Hi Juno, not quite, but good guess.
First thought = France? But second = more eastern Europe. :/
Or Kosovo? Sorry, I have to guess again because I have two countries in mind.

Yes, you’re correct Claire. What Anchor Text would you like for the link to your website?
Will First-Time Travels as an anchor text do? Thanks Todd! You’re doing great with these Travel Photo Contest. I’ve been looking forward to this always, just for the fun of guessing.

I would guess Slovenia? Am I close?

You’re close but not quite there
They have signs like these in the area I live. Can’t remember if it got pictures like these or if they’re different. Meh, should have a better look next time I drive past them.
Thanks Jesse, where do you live?
I can’t get any closer than “Somewhere in the Balkans” on this one.
But I will say that you’re not *supposed* to drive tanks on highways. It damages both.

Well, that’s why there is a speed limit
are you looking for the name of the town? ;o)
